           Eli sat in his chair, carefully positioned far enough from the others that he could observe without having to contribute to the contribution. He was tired of talking. He was tired of thinking. And, for once, he was quickly growing tired of watching the scene before him unfold in the same fashion it did almost every night when they wound down from another press conference or fan meet.
          Only ten feet away, Kevin was leaning up against Kiseop. He was chatting busily with their friends, his hands saying just as much as his mouth. The sound of his laughter was the only thing that dared interrupt him; no one else would dare. Every few minutes, AJ would nod and agree with whatever he was saying and then take a subtle step closer to him. Almost immediately, Kiseop’s arm would tighten around Kevin’s waist, pulling him further away and out of the reach of the rapper. 
          Eli watched all of this with growing agitation. This same scene had played out again and again for months. The others were allowed to act however they wanted around Kevin. They could hold him, touch him or even lean against him. For them, it was of no consequence. That was just the natural way of things. Kevin loved all of them and one of them at the same time. Though they never talked about it, they all knew it. However, none of them were as strictly bound to their image as Eli.

Notes: Lord, it’s embarrassing to post these logs. This is a bit OOC (OO…P?), but I rarely play Eli (at least, until recently). This was a test run, to see if we could get this unlikely pair to work. We apparently liked it well enough to do a follow up - there’s a second part, which includes Kevin. No, I’m not really sure how that works, either. 

Panting, Kiseop looked at Eli over his shoulder, his gaze defiant. His lips were a bit sore already from their rough kisses; Eli was certainly not being nice to him. He liked that. The contrast between the cold brick wall and Eli’s body that pressed him up against it was noticeable, and he shivered. “Here? Isn’t that a little dirty?”

“It’s not like you minded last time,” Eli replied, sliding his hands under Kiseop’s sweater. He leaned in, nipping sharply at the other man’s jawline.

           The world was a pulsing, fuzzy haze as AJ walked back to the hotel. All around him, the sounds of early morning traffic and the remnants of nightlife buzzed in the air. He had no idea what time it was, only that it was some time well past midnight. He had spent the evening - and then some - chatting with the waitresses at the bar. With conversation and alcohol, he had worked very solidly on trying to wipe the previous day from his mind.

           In the end, he had succeeded only in becoming extremely drunk. He was well aware of it. The alcoholic film that seemed to separate his mind from the waking world was not something with which he was entirely unfamiliar. He had walked into the bar with a headache and the buzz of intoxication had only made it worse. At the urging of the bar tender, he had decided that enough was enough. It was time to head back to the hotel and crash into his bed.
